Eastern Sicily

The Palmento La Rosa is the ideal starting point to discover the Eastern part of Sicily.

Around the Etna you will find many fascinating original Sicilian villages as well as barock towns with unknown riches to discover.

Mount Etna itself can be climbed (provided the respective permit) both alone or with a guide. From its top it offers a breathtaking view over a large part of the island.

In Catania, Aci Reale and Taormina you may find international fashion, local food markets as well as excellent Sicilian handicraft items. Interesting and easy to reach within one day are Syracuse, Noto and Ragusa.
